Following the recommendation of the 2021 Delaware Together comprehensive plan and the completion of the Southwest Focus Area plan, the Southeast Focus Area plan will cover over 3.000 acres of land within the City’s Planning Area.

A diverse group of City staff, residents, and representatives of local agencies has been convened as a Steering Committee to guide the planning process. Other community members who are not part of the Steering Committee are invited to share their input at any time via the form below and at key moments in the process through a series of public engagement opportunities. Dates for these public forums will be announced in the coming months.
