Resources for Journalists

The Community Affairs Office is a liaison for local, regional and national media on behalf of the city and is available to assist reporters in answering questions about city departments and activities, or obtaining more information about a news release or event. The mayor and members of city council conduct their own communications. Reporters and the public should contact elected officials directly when seeking comment from them.

Delaware City Digest

Delaware City Digest airs each Friday from 9:30-10 am on My96.7FM. The show is all about things going on in the City of Delaware and provides residents timely updates, as well as information on community programs. The show is hosted by City of Delaware Community Affairs Coordinator Lee Yoakum and Communications Specialist Bob Hogensen.
