Bikeway System Map

The City of Delaware strives to provide safe accommodations for runners, walkers and cyclists, while encouraging our bikeway’s use for transportation and recreation. The City currently has 20 miles of bikeways that connect neighborhoods, schools, commercial areas and recreational facilities throughout the city.

Our vision is that Delaware will be a bike-friendly city, with a complete bike network which allows bicyclists of varying age, skill, and ability to safely travel across the city and beyond. The planning process included an assessment of existing conditions, a public engagement and visioning process, and recommendations to implement the vision.
