City of Delaware offices are closed Monday, December 26. Refuse will not be collected on Dec. 26. It will be collected on a “Next Day” schedule Tuesday, December 27 through Saturday, December 31.

Additional Refuse Bags Dec. 27-Dec. 31: For December 27-31, additional non-tagged bags of holiday refuse placed outside of the tipcarts will be collected at curbside.

New Year’s Hours and Collections: City offices are closed Monday, January 2. Refuse will not be collected on Jan. 2. It will be collected on a “Next Day” schedule Tuesday, January 3 through Saturday, January 7.

Christmas Tree Collections: The annual Christmas tree and holiday greens collection period is Tuesday, January 3 through Friday, February 3. Any remaining yard waste will be picked up at this time, as well.  Do not place trees in plastic bags at curbside.
