The City prides itself on being one of the safest, and annually handles more than 70,000 calls for service. The department works to provide a safe community and strives to enhance the quality of life for all by eliminating the underlying causes of crime, conflicts and safety hazards. The department coordinates a concerted effort among various city government branches and area law enforcement agencies.
