Each year, the Delaware Shade Tree Commission recognizes a business, association or organization that creates outstanding landscapes, presents a positive image of the business, and contribute to the beautification of the community.

Outstanding landscapes are comprised of trees, shrubs, flowers and other appropriate landscape features.  The nominated landscapes are observed throughout the year and an award is presented in April.
